Wrapping Belongings in Newspaper
– Avoid using newspaper to wrap your precious items in; the ink can bleed onto your belongings leaving unwanted smudges, which of course leaves them looking dirty and leaves you with more work! Consider turning to ink-free wrapping paper that’s specifically for this purpose; we provide all of your self-storage supplies directly at our facility.
Storing Food
– This may have you laughing from the obvious, but surprisingly it still does take place! Never store food of any kind in any container, in your storage unit. Why? Easy. Food attracts pests and pests will cause damage to your items.
Failing to Have Enough Help/Time
– Moving is a stressful time and during such a transition, it’s easy to lose track of stuff. Be sure that you have given yourself enough time to complete the move successfully.
